بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي ذِكْرِ اللّٰهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَىٰWhat is reported about remembrance of Allah, Blessed and Exalted
Hadith 489
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ قَالَ : سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ فِي يَوْمٍ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ حُطَّتْ عَنْهُ خَطَايَاهُ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever says: «سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ» one hundred times in a day, his sins will be erased even if they are like the foam of the sea."
