بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي سُجُودِ الْقُرْآنِWhat is reported about prostration in the Qur'an
Hadith 480
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ مَوْلَى الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَرَأَ لَهُمْ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ فَسَجَدَ فِيهَا فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ أَخْبَرَهُمْ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " سَجَدَ فِيهَا "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Salamah bin Abdur Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) recited Surah «﴿إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ﴾» and performed sajdah (prostration), and when he finished, he explained that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed sajdah in it.
