بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي مَسْجِدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَWhat is reported about the Prophet's Mosque (peace be upon him)
Hadith 462
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ ، وَعُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ سَلْمَانَ الْأَغَرِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ ، إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Performing one prayer in my mosque is better than a thousand prayers in any other mosque except Masjid al-Haram."
