بَابُ الْأَمْرِ بِالصَّلَاةِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِChapter on the command to pray before the sermon on the two Eids
Hadith 430
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ ، أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ ، وَعُمَرَ كَانَا يَفْعَلَانِ ذَلِكَ
Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) was informed that Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) also used to do the same. (That is, they would deliver the sermon after the prayer on the two Eids.)
