بَابُ الْعَمَلِ فِي جَامِعِ الصَّلَاةِChapter on Actions in Comprehensive Prayer
Hadith 411
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " مَا صَلَاةٌ يُجْلَسُ فِي كُلِّ رَكْعَةٍ مِنْهَا " ، ثُمَّ قَالَ سَعِيدٌ : " هِيَ الْمَغْرِبُ إِذَا فَاتَتْكَ مِنْهَا رَكْعَةٌ وَكَذَلِكَ سُنَّةُ الصَّلَاةِ كُلُّهَا "
Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib, may Allah have mercy on him, said: Which is the prayer in which one has to sit after every rak'ah? Then he himself said: It is the Maghrib prayer when one rak'ah is missed with the Imam.
Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, said: This is the method for all prayers.
