بَابُ انْتِظَارِ الصَّلَاةِ وَالْمَشْيِ إِلَيْهَاChapter on Waiting for Prayer and Walking to It
Hadith 384
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، كَانَ يَقُولُ : " مَنْ غَدَا أَوْ رَاحَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ لَا يُرِيدُ غَيْرَهُ ، لِيَتَعَلَّمَ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيُعَلِّمَهُ ، ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَى بَيْتِهِ كَانَ كَالْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ رَجَعَ غَانِمًا "
Sami narrates that Abu Bakr bin Abdur Rahman used to say: Whoever goes to the mosque in the morning or in the afternoon to learn or teach a good matter, then returns to his home, it is as if he returned with spoils from jihad.
