It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: I never saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performing the Duha prayer, but I perform it. And it was the practice of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he would consider an act correct but would not do it, out of fear that people would also start doing it and it would become obligatory.
