بَابُ صَلَاةِ النَّافِلَةِ فِي السَّفَرِ بِالنَّهَارِ وَاللَّيْلِ ، وَالصَّلَاةِ عَلَى الدَّابَّةِVoluntary prayer during travel by day and night, and prayer on an animal
Hadith 354
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ " يُصَلِّي عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ فِي السَّفَرِ حَيْثُ تَوَجَّهَتْ بِهِ . قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ : وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray on a camel during travel, facing in the direction the camel was facing. Abdullah bin Dinar said that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) also used to do the same.
