بَابُ صَلَاةِ الْمُسَافِرِ إِذَا كَانَ إِمَامًا أَوْ كَانَ وَرَاءَ إِمَامٍPrayer of the traveler as Imam or behind an Imam
Hadith 348
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ " كَانَ يُصَلِّي وَرَاءَ الْإِمَامِ بِمِنًى أَرْبَعًا ، فَإِذَا صَلَّى لِنَفْسِهِ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ "
It is narrated from Hazrat Nafi that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to perform four rak'ahs behind the Imam in Mina, and when he prayed alone, he would perform two rak'ahs.
