بَابُ الْجَمْعِ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ فِي الْحَضَرِ وَالسَّفَرِChapter on combining two prayers in residence and travel
Hadith 328
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا عَجِلَ بِهِ السَّيْرُ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ "
It is narrated from Nafi‘ that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to travel quickly, he would combine Maghrib and ‘Isha prayers.
