بَابُ الرُّخْصَةِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِConcession for praying in a single garment
Hadith 321
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ ثَوْبَيْنِ فَلْيُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُلْتَحِفًا بِهِ ، فَإِنْ كَانَ الثَّوْبُ قَصِيرًا فَلْيَتَّزِرْ بِهِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever does not find two garments should perform prayer wrapped in one garment; if it is small, then he should make it his lower garment (waist-wrapper)."
