بَابُ الْقِرَاءَةِ فِي صَلَاةِ الْجُمُعَةِ ، وَالْاحْتِبَاءِ ، وَمَنْ تَرَكَهَا مِنْ غَيْرِ عُذْرٍRecitation in Friday prayer, sitting with knees drawn up, and one who abandons it without excuse
Hadith 243
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٌ أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يَحْتَبِي يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ
Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) was informed that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to sit with his knees drawn up (ihtiba) on the day of Jumu'ah while the Imam was delivering the sermon.
