بَابُ الْقِرَاءَةِ فِي صَلَاةِ الْجُمُعَةِ ، وَالْاحْتِبَاءِ ، وَمَنْ تَرَكَهَا مِنْ غَيْرِ عُذْرٍRecitation in Friday prayer, sitting with knees drawn up, and one who abandons it without excuse
Hadith 242
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْمَازِنِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، أَنَّ الضَّحَّاكَ بْنَ قَيْسٍ ، سَأَلَ النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ مَاذَا كَانَ يَقْرَأُ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عَلَى إِثْرِ سُورَةِ الْجُمُعَةِ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ يَقْرَأُ هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ "
Sayyiduna Duhak bin Qais (may Allah be pleased with him) asked Sayyiduna Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him), "Which surah did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recite after Surah al-Jumu'ah on the day of Jumu'ah?" He replied, "«﴿هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ﴾»."
