بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي السَّاعَةِ الَّتِي فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِWhat is reported about the special hour on Friday
Hadith 237
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَالَ : " فِيهِ سَاعَةٌ لَا يُوَافِقُهَا عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي ، يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ شَيْئًا ، إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ ، وَأَشَارَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِهِ يُقَلِّلُهَا "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, mentioned Friday and then said: "There is an hour in it such that no Muslim servant encounters it while he is standing in prayer and asks Allah for something, except that Allah grants him that thing." And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, indicated with his hand that this hour is short.
