بَابُ إِتْمَامِ الْمُصَلِّي مَا ذَكَرَ إِذَا شَكَّ فِي صَلَاتِهِChapter on Completing What One Remembers if Doubtful in Prayer
Hadith 214
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ إِذَا سُئِلَ عَنِ النِّسْيَانِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ ، قَالَ : " لِيَتَوَخَّ أَحَدُكُمُ الَّذِي يَظُنُّ أَنَّهُ نَسِيَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ فَلْيُصَلِّهِ "
It is narrated from Hazrat Nafi that when Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) was asked about forgetting in prayer, he said: He should think about what he has forgotten and then recite it.
