حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ
ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ
مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ :
لِي خَمْسَةُ أَسْمَاءٍ أَنَا مُحمّدُ، وَأَنا أَحْمَدُ، وَأَنَا الْمَاحِي الّذِي يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بِي الْكُفْرَ، وَأَنَا الْحَاشِرُ الّذِي يُحْشَرُ النّاسُ عَلَى قَدَمَيَّ، وَأَنَا الْعَاقِبُ
It is narrated from Muhammad bin Jubair bin Mut’im that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “I have five names: Muhammad (the much praised), Ahmad (the most worthy of praise among all creation), Al-Mahi (the one who erases disbelief), through my hand Allah will erase disbelief, and Al-Hashir, all people will be gathered at my feet, and Al-‘Aqib (the last of the Prophets).” Peace and abundant blessings be upon him.
