بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي تَرِكَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَWhat is Reported Regarding the Inheritance of the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith 1832
وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِك، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا يَقْتَسِمُ وَرَثَتِي دَنَانِيرَ، مَا تَرَكْتُ بَعْدَ نَفَقَةِ نِسَائِي وَمَئُونَةِ عَامِلِي فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "After me, my heirs will not distribute my inheritance. Whatever I leave behind, after providing for my wives and the expenses of my worker, is all charity."
