بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي الْوَحْدَةِ فِي السَّفَرِ لِلرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِWhat is Reported Regarding Solitude During Travel for Men and Women
Hadith 1792
حَدَّثَنِي مَالِك، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الرَّاكِبُ شَيْطَانٌ، وَالرَّاكِبَانِ شَيْطَانَانِ، وَالثَّلَاثَةُ رَكْبٌ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A single traveler is a devil, and two traveling together are two devils, and three are a group."
