بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي الْحِجَامَةِ وَأُجْرَةِ الْحَجَّامِWhat is Reported Regarding Cupping and the Fee of the Cupper
Hadith 1782
حَدَّثَنِي مَالِك، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَجَمَهُ أَبُو طَيْبَةَ، فَأَمَرَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِصَاعٍ مِنْ تَمْرٍ، وَأَمَرَ أَهْلَهُ أَنْ يُخَفِّفُوا عَنْهُ مِنْ خَرَاجِهِ "
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had cupping done by Abu Taybah, then he (peace be upon him) gave him one sa’ of dates as wages and ordered his owners to reduce his tax.
