It is narrated from Yahya ibn Sa'id that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Who will milk this she-camel?" A man stood up. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, asked: "What is your name?" He replied: "Murrah." The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Sit down." (The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, did not like his name; Murrah also means bitter.) Then the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Who will milk this she-camel?" Another man stood up. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, asked: "What is your name?" He replied: "Harb." The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Sit down." (Harb means war.) Then the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Who will milk this she-camel?" Another man stood up. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, asked: "What is your name?" He replied: "Ya'ish." The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Go and milk [the she-camel]." (The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, liked the name Ya'ish because it is from 'aish [meaning to live]. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to take good omens.)
