وَحَدَّثَنِي وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِك، عَنْ
نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ
ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ
" يُقَرَّبُ إِلَيْهِ عَشَاؤُهُ فَيَسْمَعُ قِرَاءَةَ الْإِمَامِ وَهُوَ فِي بَيْتِهِ، فَلَا يَعْجَلُ عَنْ طَعَامِهِ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ حَاجَتَهُ مِنْهُ "
It is narrated from Nafi‘ that when dinner was presented before Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), he would listen to the recitation of the Imam in his house, and he would not hurry with the food until he had eaten properly.
