بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي الْمُتَحَابِّينَ فِي اللّٰهِWhat is Reported Regarding Those Who Love Each Other for Allah's Sake
Hadith 1740
وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ : " الْقَصْدُ وَالتُّؤَدَةُ وَحُسْنُ السَّمْتِ، جُزْءٌ مِنْ خَمْسَةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ "
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says (Tabarani has narrated it as marfu’ in Al-Mu’jam Al-Kabir): Moderation, gentleness, and good appearance are one part out of the twenty-five parts of Prophethood.
