بَابُ الْغَسْلِ بِالْمَاءِ مِنَ الْحُمَّىWashing with Water from Fever
Hadith 1720
وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَابْرُدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ "
It is narrated from Hazrat Urwah bin Zubair that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Fever is the boiling of Hell, so cool it with water."
