بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي أَجْرِ الْمَرِيضِWhat is Reported Regarding the Reward of the Sick
Hadith 1711
وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِك، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي صَعْصَعَةَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحُبَاب سَعِيدَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُصِبْ مِنْهُ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whomever Allah, the Glorious and Exalted, intends good for, He afflicts him with hardships."
