بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي أَجْرِ الْمَرِيضِWhat is Reported Regarding the Reward of the Sick
Hadith 1710
وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، تَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةُ إِلَّا قُصَّ بِهَا أَوْ كُفِّرَ بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ " . لَا يَدْرِي يَزِيدُ أَيُّهُمَا قَالَ عُرْوَةُ
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No grief or affliction befalls a believer except that his (minor) sins are forgiven, even if a thorn pricks him, his sins are forgiven." Yazid said: I do not remember which word Urwah used from «قُصَّ» and «كُفِّرَ».
