بَابُ افْتِتَاحِ الصَّلَاةِOpening of the prayer
Hadith 167
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ وَهْبِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّهُ " كَانَ يُعَلِّمُهُمُ التَّكْبِيرَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ ، قَالَ : فَكَانَ يَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نُكَبِّرَ كُلَّمَا خَفَضْنَا وَرَفَعْنَا "
Abu Nu'aym Wahb bin Kaysan narrates that Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari (may Allah be pleased with both of them) used to teach them the takbir in prayer, so he would instruct them to say the takbir when we bow and when we rise.
