وَحَدَّثَنِي وَحَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ
نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ
عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ " كَانَ
إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَذْوَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ ، وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ رَفَعَهُمَا دُونَ ذَلِكَ "
Yahya narrated to me from Imam Malik, from Nafi', that Abdullah ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, when he began the prayer, he would raise both his hands level with his shoulders, and when he raised his head from bowing (ruku'), he would raise both his hands a little less than that.
