بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي إِجْلَاءِ الْيَهُودِ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِWhat is reported about expelling the Jews from Madinah
Hadith 1609
وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، يَقُولُ : كَانَ مِنْ آخِرِ مَا تَكَلَّمَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنْ قَالَ : " قَاتَلَ اللَّهُ الْيَهُودَ، وَالنَّصَارَى اتَّخَذُوا قُبُورَ أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ مَسَاجِدَ، لَا يَبْقَيَنَّ دِينَانِ بِأَرْضِ الْعَرَبِ "
It is narrated from Umar bin Abdul Aziz that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said as his last words: "May Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, destroy the Jews and the Christians; they made the graves of their prophets into mosques. Be aware, there shall not remain two religions in Arabia."
