وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِك، عَنْ
ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ
سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ : لَوْ رَأَيْتُ الظِّبَاءَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ تَرْتَعُ مَا ذَعَرْتُهَا، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :
" مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا حَرَامٌ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he used to say: If I see deer grazing in Madinah, I would never disturb them; the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The two boundaries of Madinah are sacred."
