بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي النِّدَاءِ لِلصَّلَاةِChapter on what is reported regarding the call to prayer
Hadith 153
وَحَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي سُهَيْلِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " مَا أَعْرِفُ شَيْئًا مِمَّا أَدْرَكْتُ عَلَيْهِ النَّاسَ ، إِلَّا النِّدَاءَ بِالصَّلَاةِ "
Hazrat Malik bin Abi Amir Asbahi, who is the grandfather of Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him), says: I do not see anything remaining in the manner in which I found the Companions except the adhan.
