قَالَ مَالِك : وَالْأَمْرُ عِنْدَنَا أَنَّ مُقَدَّمَ الْفَمِ وَالْأَضْرَاسِ وَالْأَنْيَابِ عَقْلُهَا سَوَاءٌ، وَذَلِكَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي السِّنِّ : " خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ "، وَالضِّرْسُ سِنٌّ مِنَ الْأَسْنَانِ، لَا يَفْضُلُ بَعْضُهَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ
Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, said: In our view, the ruling is that the teeth, the canine teeth, and the molars are all equal, because the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, prescribed five camels for each tooth; the molar is also a tooth.
