بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي النِّدَاءِ لِلصَّلَاةِChapter on what is reported regarding the call to prayer
Hadith 151
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " سَاعَتَانِ يُفْتَحُ لَهُمَا أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ وَقَلَّ دَاعٍ تُرَدُّ عَلَيْهِ دَعْوَتُهُ حَضْرَةُ النِّدَاءِ لِلصَّلَاةِ وَالصَّفُّ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: There are two times when the doors of the heavens are opened, and it is rare that a supplicant’s prayer is not accepted: at the time when the call to prayer (adhan) is given for prayer, and the second is when the ranks are formed for jihad.
