بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي عَقْلِ الشِّجَاجِChapter on What is Reported Regarding Compensation for Head Wounds
Hadith 1509B2
قَالَ مَالِكٌ : وَالْمُنَقِّلَةُ الَّتِي يَطِيرُ فِرَاشُهَا مِنَ الْعَظْمِ، وَلَا تَخْرِقُ إِلَى الدِّمَاغِ، وَهِيَ تَكُونُ فِي الرَّأْسِ وَفِي الْوَجْهِ. ¤
Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, said that "Manqalah" is the blow by which the bone is separated from its place but does not reach the brain, and it occurs in the head and the face.
