قَالَ مَالِكٌ فِي الرَّجُلِ يَحْضُرُ الْقِتَالَ : إِنَّهُ إِذَا زَحَفَ فِي الصَّفِّ لِلْقِتَالِ، لَمْ يَجُزْ لَهُ أَنْ يَقْضِيَ فِي مَالِهِ شَيْئًا. إِلَّا فِي الثُّلُثِ. وَإِنَّهُ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْحَامِلِ وَالْمَرِيضِ الْمَخُوفِ عَلَيْهِ مَا كَانَ بِتِلْكَ الْحَالِ.
Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, said that a person who stands in the battle line and goes to fight, it is not permissible for him to dispose of more than one-third of his wealth; he is also under the same ruling as a pregnant woman and a sick person.
