بَابُ بَيْعِ الذَّهَبِ بِالْفِضَّةِ تِبْرًا وَعَيْنًاChapter on Sale of Gold for Silver
Hadith 1333
وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَبِي عَامِرٍ ، أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تَبِيعُوا الدِّينَارَ بِالدِّينَارَيْنِ، وَلَا الدِّرْهَمَ بِالدِّرْهَمَيْنِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not sell one dinar for two dinars, nor one dirham for two dirhams."
