Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Abu Samee'ah
Benefit:

Uthman (radi Allahu anhu) performed the Friday prayer (Jumu‘ah) immediately after the sun had passed its zenith (zawal), and then set out for Makkah at that very time. By the time of ‘Asr prayer, he had reached the place called "Malal" between Makkah and Madinah, which is 22 miles from Madinah, i.e., approximately 53 kilometers away. Some have mentioned the distance as seventeen or eighteen miles. In short, during that era, the Friday prayer was performed early.
