Hadith 1208

وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ : " الطَّلَاقُ لِلرِّجَالِ، وَالْعِدَّةُ لِلنِّسَاءِ "
Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib used to say: Divorce is according to men, and the waiting period (‘iddah) is according to women.
