بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي الْأَقْرَاءِ وَعِدَّةِ الطَّلَاقِ وَطَلَاقِ الْحَائِضِChapter on What is Reported Regarding Menstruation, Waiting Period, and Divorce During Menstruation
Hadith 1197
عَنِ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ مَوْلَى الْمَهْرِيِّ، أَنَّ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَسَالِمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ، كَانَا يَقُولَانِ : إِذَا طُلِّقَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ فَدَخَلَتْ فِي الدَّمِ مِنَ الْحَيْضَةِ الثَّالِثَةِ، فَقَدْ بَانَتْ مِنْهُ وَحَلَّتْ.
It is narrated from Fudail bin Abi Abdullah that Qasim bin Muhammad and Salim bin Abdullah used to say: When a divorced woman begins her third menstruation, she becomes separated from her husband, and it becomes permissible for her to marry another man.
