بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي الْوَلِيمَةِChapter on What is Reported Regarding the Wedding Feast (Walima)
Hadith 1122
وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : لَقَدْ بَلَغَنِي، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يُولِمُ بِالْوَلِيمَةِ، مَا فِيهَا خُبْزٌ وَلَا لَحْمٌ "
Yahya ibn Sa'id said that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to give a wedding feast (walima) in which there was neither bread nor meat.
