بَابُ مَا يُنْهَى عَنْهُ مِنَ الضَّحَايَاChapter on what is prohibited regarding sacrificial animals
Hadith 1061
وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ، " كَانَ يَتَّقِي مِنَ الضَّحَايَا وَالْبُدْنِ الَّتِي لَمْ تُسِنَّ وَالَّتِي نَقَصَ مِنْ خَلْقِهَا " .¤ قَالَ مَالِك : وَهَذَا أَحَبُّ مَا سَمِعْتُ إِلَيَّ
It is narrated from Hazrat Nafi that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) would avoid those sacrificial animals which were not musinnah and those which had any limb missing.
Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I like this narration very much.
