وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ التَّيْمِيِّ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبِي " يَسْتَحِبُّ الْعَقِيقَةَ وَلَوْ بِعُصْفُورٍ "
It is narrated from Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Harith Taymi that he heard from his father that 'Aqiqah is better, even if it is only a sparrow.'
