وَحَدَّثَنِي وَحَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ
نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ
عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي الْكَلْبِ الْمُعَلَّمِ :
" كُلْ مَا أَمْسَكَ عَلَيْكَ إِنْ قَتَلَ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَقْتُلْ "
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to say that the prey caught by a trained dog is lawful to eat, whether the dog kills the prey or keeps it alive.
