Spitting towards the qiblah is forbidden
Hadith 591
205- وبه: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم رأى بصاقا فى جدار القبلة فحكه: ثم أقبل على الناس فقال: ”إذا كان أحدكم يصلي فلا يبصق قبل وجهه فإن الله قبل وجهه إذا صلى.“
And with the same chain of narration (from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both), it is narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saw spit on the wall facing the qiblah, so he scraped it off (and cleaned it), then turned towards the people and said: "When any one of you prays, he should not spit in front of himself, because when he prays, Allah is in front of him."
Hadith 592
460- وبه: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم رأى فى جدار القبلة بصاقا أو مخاطا أو نخامة فحكه.
And with the same chain of narration (from Sayyidah Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her), it is narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saw spit or phlegm on the wall facing the qiblah, so he scraped it off (and cleaned it).
