Virtue of the Mujahid (Fighter in Allah’s Path)
Hadith 552
345- وبه: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ”مثل المجاهد فى سبيل الله كمثل الصائم القائم الدائم الذى لا يفتر من صلاة ولا من صيام حتى يرجع.“
And with the same chain of narration, it is narrated (from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The example of the one who strives in the path of Allah is like that of a person who continuously fasts without any break and always performs prayer until the warrior returns (to his home)."
Hadith 553
346- وبه: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ”تكفل الله لمن جاهد فى سبيله، لا يخرجه من بيته إلا الجهاد فى سبيله وتصديق كلمته، بأن يدخله الجنة أو يرده إلى مسكنه الذى خرج منه مع ما نال من أجر أو غنيمة.“
And with the same chain of narration, it is narrated from (Sayyiduna Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever sets out from his home for jihad in the way of Allah, with nothing in view except jihad in the way of Allah, (the exaltation of) the word of Allah, and affirming it, then Allah guarantees him Paradise: that He will admit him into it, or return him to his home with reward or spoils (of war)."
Hadith 554
348- وبه: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ”يضحك الله إلى رجلين يقتل أحدهما الآخر كلاهما يدخل الجنة، يقاتل هذا فى سبيل الله فيقتل، ثم يتوب الله على القاتل فيقاتل فيستشهد.“
And with this chain (it is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Allah laughs at two men (in a manner befitting His Majesty), one of whom kills the other, yet both enter Paradise. One fights in the way of Allah and is killed, then Allah grants the killer the ability to repent (accept Islam), then he fights and is martyred."
