Delaying Debt Repayment by the Wealthy
Hadith 526
354- وبه: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ”مطل الغني ظلم، وإذا أتبع أحدكم على مليء فليتبع.“
And with this chain of narration (it is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Delaying the repayment of a debt by a wealthy person is injustice, and if a debtor refers you to a wealthy person (saying that he will pay your debt), then you should accept it."
