Muwatta Imam Malik (Riwayat Ibn al-Qasim)

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Rafi’ (may Allah be pleased with him), the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took a camel on loan. Then, when camels from charity came to him, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered me to repay the debt of the person from whom the young camel had been taken. I said: I do not find among the camels anything except the best six-year-old camels. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Give him from those, for the best among people are those who are best in repaying debts.”
