Being angry for more than three days is not allowed
Hadith 468
4- وبه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ”لا تباغضوا ولا تحاسدوا، ولا تدابروا، وكونوا عباد الله إخوانا، ولا يحل لمسلم أن يهجر أخاه فوق ثلاث ليال.“
And with this chain of narration, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not bear malice against one another, do not envy one another, do not turn your backs on one another, and be, O servants of Allah, brothers to one another. It is not lawful for a Muslim to boycott his brother for more than three nights."
Hadith 469
79- وبه: عن عطاء بن يزيد الليثي عن أبى أيوب الأنصاري أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ”لا يحل لمسلم أن يهجر أخاه فوق ثلاث ليال، يلتقيان فيعرض هذا ويعرض هذا، وخيرهما الذى يبدأ بالسلام.“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not lawful for any Muslim to boycott his brother for more than three nights (such that) when they meet, one turns his face away from the other and the other turns his face away from him. The better of the two is the one who greets the other first."
