Hadith 450
And with this same chain (it is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah al-Ansari, may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would stand on Safa, he would say takbir (Allahu Akbar) three times and say: «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ. » "There is no god (worthy of worship) except Allah, He is alone, He has no partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would do this three times and make supplication, and he would do the same on (the hill of) Marwah.
