Hadith 425
And with this same chain (it is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade two types of garments and two types of transactions: the two transactions are mulamasa and munabadhah, and (by two types of garments it is meant) that a man sits in a single garment with his knees drawn up in such a way that there is no cloth covering his private parts, and that a person wraps himself in a single garment in such a way that one of his shoulders remains uncovered.
Hadith 426
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah al-Sulami (al-Ansari, may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade a person from eating with his left hand or walking in a single shoe. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, also forbade wrapping oneself completely in a garment (ishtimal as-samma’) or sitting in a way with a single cloth that exposes the private parts.
