Muwatta Imam Malik (Riwayat Ibn al-Qasim)

It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that we set out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (from Madinah) when five nights of Dhu al-Qa'dah remained, and our intention was only for Hajj. Then, when we approached Makkah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that whoever does not have a sacrificial animal, if he has performed the Tawaf of the House of Allah and the Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, then he should come out of Ihram. Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Then on the day of sacrifice, beef was brought to us, so I asked: What is this? The people said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has offered sacrifice on behalf of his wives. Yahya (bin Sa'id al-Ansari) said: Then I narrated this hadith before Qasim bin Muhammad, so he said: Umrah has narrated this hadith to you exactly as it was originally.
